NEXUS OV1 DIAGRAM

  1. Hoverfly TeUAS is autonomously deployed from a manned or unmanned vehicle, fitted with an AI-enhanced ISR payload. Warfighters are able to conduct reconnaissance outside of the combat zone.
  2. Hoverfly TeUAS goes to 200’ and provides a persistent video feed through the secure tether. With real-time tracking and reconnaissance, analyzed and enhanced through AI processing, Hoverfly evaluates the mission from above.
  3. Hoverfly TeUAS dispatches free-flying defense drones and autonomous ground robots to recon areas outside of its visual range. Information from their feeds is relayed directly back through the Hoverfly to warfighters and backhauled to command for rapid decision making.
  4. Hoverfly TeUAS identifies targets and dispatches loitering munitions and unmanned combat vehicles to intercept and eliminate them.

NEXUS APPLICATIONS

Real-Time Data Transmission for ISR

NEXUS enables seamless communication between unmanned systems and command centers, enhancing Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) capabilities by transmitting real-time video, sensor, and radar data from UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) or UGVs (Unmanned Ground Vehicles) to operators in remote locations.

Extended Range for UAVs and UGVs

NEXUS increases the operational range of unmanned systems by extending communication links, allowing them to operate effectively in complex, dense, or remote environments, such as urban battlefields or rugged terrain.

Optimized Mission Effectiveness

Optionally tethered drones give the warfighter a poor tethered system and an inefficient free-flyer drone. NEXUS allows the warfighter to optimize each of the technologies together through an ecosystem rather than an ineffective physical system.

Coordinated Multi-UAV Missions

The NEXUS solution enables synchronized communication between multiple unmanned systems, allowing for coordinated swarming tactics, reconnaissance operations, or search-and-rescue missions, improving mission efficiency and effectiveness.

Electronic Warfare (EW) Operations

NEXUS could be used to support unmanned systems deployed for electronic warfare tasks, such as jamming enemy communications or gathering signals intelligence, by providing stable, extended communication capabilities over long distances.

Combat Situational Awareness

By extending communication range and network reliability, NEXUS helps unmanned systems feed battlefield data to troops in real time, enhancing situational awareness, targeting, and decision-making during combat operations.

Yes, NEXUS allows multiple unmanned systems to coordinate and communicate in real time, enabling synchronized operations like swarming or multi-unit reconnaissance.

Absolutely. NEXUS extends communication capabilities in rugged, remote, and dense environments, ensuring reliable connectivity in areas with limited infrastructure. By using Hoverfly TeUAS at 200 ft, connectivity is elevated and enhanced regardless of terrain or environmental conditions.

Yes, NEXUS is designed to integrate seamlessly with most existing unmanned systems, with Hoverfly’s simple and intuitive SDK augmenting and extending performance without requiring major modifications.
